CB3 Hush Wireless Bluetooth Headphones Review
First Impressions
CB3 Hush as I said earlier, is an Active Noise Cancelling headphones that comes with Bluetooth 4.0 technology integrated into it.
For a price that is fairly under $100, the Hush is an excellent contender to other Noise Cancelling Headphones under $100.
Though it has a complete plastic built, the headphone seems tight and neatly assembled, with no squeaks and squeals here and there.
It is available in two colors: Silver and Black, however only the earcups back plate has different colors, whereas the whole headset is covered in Black.
Moreover the headphones come in an accessories filled package, which includes the noise cancelling headphones themselves along with an AUX cable, micro USB charging cable, full sized headphone storage case, a small zippered pouch to store wires and an airline adapter as well.
Design
As I mentioned earlier, the design is simplistic and practical as well, with nothing gone over the top.
Be it kids, adults or senior citizens, no one would find using the headphones difficult to use.
It has fairly large and heavily padded earcups, which does offer a good amount of clamping force but feels normal once you start using the headphone regularly.
The earcups are foldable as well and can be easily stored for convenience.
The earcups also features the Noise Cancelling On/Off switch and buttons to play/pause tracks and increase/decrease volume as well.
Design wise it surely looks uber cool, however nothing fancy that will make it an attention seeker.
Specifications
I love the part that under $100, you get an over-ear headphone that includes Active Noise Cancelling technology that is coupled with Bluetooth as well.
Inside this headphone, there’s also a microphone that will enable you to receive calls and speak with a clear voice quality.
Along with you also get large 40mm drivers inside each cup that outputs a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz and impedance of just 32 Ohms.
Moreover with the provided AUX cable, you can save battery by turning off Bluetooth and listening music via connecting the wire from the headset to your smartphone.
Sitting inside is a 550mAh battery that takes around 2.5 hours to fully charge itself, however I’d recommend to use a wall charger for quick charging time.
On full charge, the CB3 Hush delivers a battery life of around 10-12 hours with both Active Noise Cancelling and Bluetooth On.
Performance
CB3 Hush is an extreme contender when it comes to inexpensive Noise Cancelling Headphones.
For a sub-$100 headphones, don’t expect it to deliver Noise Cancelling capabilities similar to more expensive brands, however it does its job well and eliminates most of the outside noise with its ANC circuitry.
You can definitely feel the Noise Cancelling technology working, without affecting the sound quality at all.
From my experience, I’ve seen the CB3 Hush produces better sound when the Noise Cancelling feature is ON, rather than when turned OFF.
Coming to its sound quality, the CB3 Hush is an excellent audio equipment as well.
It produces a warmer sound, which is surely a blessing and a proper headset to listen to rock and acoustic music.
This doesn’t means that it has low bass, it certainly has enough bass and kicks in when required, and I kind of like headphones that way for sure.
Bluetooth connectivity is good as well, and you can listen to skip free music or not worry about signals breaking.
However I would have love, if I could at single time connect two separate devices to it.
This way I can seamlessly switch between my laptop and mobile phone while listening audio.
