The Standard mode is great for watching TV shows, News offers increase in treble so that you can hear dialogues more clearly, and the Movie mode boosts bass and mids so as hear movie’s soundtrack and audio clearly.

Moreover inside the box you also get Optical Cable, RCA cable, Power Adapter, Stereo Cable and wall bracket mounts.
Due to absense of a sub-woofer, your audio won’t feel thumpier compared to soundbars under $200 and under $300 that come with an external sub-woofer, however if your main aim is to get a decent sound upgrade over your recessed TV speakers, then the AmazonBasics 2.0 soundbar is an excellent choice as well.
It offers a sound output of 25W, which is loud enough to make the sound audible sitting at a long distance.
“If you need a no-frills soundbar that is priced closed to $50 and offers bang for its buck value, this best low cost soundbar from AmazonBasics is your favorite bet.”
#6: Bohm BA66 Soundbar
The best thing about Home Audio sector is:
There are always new companies making the round that introduce excellent products at low prices and always give consumers a bang for their buck.
One such company is Bohm that has introduced multiple audio equipment in Headphones and Speakers segment, and one of their prized product is Bohm’s BA66 soundbar.
No products found.
If you look at various products from Bohm, the one thing that has been consistent about them is great looking products.
I’ve gone through various products from Bohm, and not once have found an audio equipment that looks dull or poor in design, and the same philosophy is carried out with Bohm BA66 soundbar.
It is one of the loudest and best soundbar for small room in our list and contains a total of 6 drivers in it’s long body of 32 inches.
The far left and far right side of this best low cost Bluetooth speaker contains 1.5-inch driver each, while the centre hosts 4x 2.5-inch loud drivers that work together to produce a total sound output of 60W.
As I mentioned earlier, this good and cheap soundbar from Bohm comes with Bluetooth connectivity, whereas it also has support for stereo, RCA and optical inputs.
The package in which the Bohm BA66 comes includes: the soundbar itself, along with 3.5mm cables, optical cable, remote, wall mounts and user manual as well.
Moreover to make listening fun, this best inexpensive soundbar for TV includes three audio modes: Music mode, Movie mode and Night mode.
The first two modes adjusts the equalizer in order to accentuate audio while listening music and movie respectively, while the Night mode helps when the little ones are asleep.
Coming to its sound quality, as it’s featured in my list of best soundbar under $100, it doesn’t dissapoints at all.
For small rooms, this is an excellent companion that offer a room filling sound, along with plenty of bass and an overall balanced sound, just don’t keep the volume at full because the sound will start to distort.
Volume anywhere between 30-70% is a sweet spot.
“I’m amazed with the kind of technology you can buy right now under $100, Bohm BA66 is definitely a soundbar meant for masses and is a great update over your TV’s pale in-built speakers.”
#5: Razer Leviathan Mini
If you’re looking for the best soundbar for PC under $100, then surely the Razer Leviathan Mini should be your #1 choice.
We have featured the Razer Laviathan that comes with a subwoofer in our list of best soundbar under $200.
Coming to the Leviathan Mini, with a length of 8-inch, it makes up to be a great choice if you need a soundbar to keep in front of your monitor or next to your laptop.

- Wirelessly link two Leviathan Mini for true stereo playback on the go
- Powerful lows and crystal clear highs in an ultra-portable speaker
- Bluetooth with aptX technology for high-fidelity wireless music streaming
- 10 hour battery life for non-stop entertainment anywhere
Since it’s a battery powered soundbar, you need not connect it to an external power source, however with a battery life of just 10 hours, you might need to charge it every alternate days.
It’s a complete wireless soundbar that offers Bluetooth connectivity with Aptx technology for a skip free sound listening.
You can connect this soundbar to your TV or computer via the provided 3.5mm jack that saves the hassles of connecting multiple wires between the TV and speaker.
Technically it’s a Wireless Bluetooth speaker, but for sure is an innovative audio equipment that offers a strong bass and great treble, moreover you can also carry this soundbar along with you while stepping out of the house as well.
Since it’s only 8-inch long, it also won’t take much space in front of your TV or desktop monitor as well.
With addition of NFC pairing, it’s probably one of the most advanced soundbar in our list under $100.
Design wise, the Razer Leviathan Mini looks very modern and keeps up the overall look of the brand’s other products meant specifically for gamers.
The top of the speakers houses three buttons: Volume Up, Volume Down and a round button that can be used to sync another Leviathan Mini for a complete stereo sound.
However for the uninitated, this soundbar is a proper 2.1 speaker under $100 because it contains a two 45mm drivers at the front and a passive radiator at the back that offers a loud and balanced sound.
“For people who love to save space, like to keep wires to a minimum and like their audio equipment for multiple use, then the Razer Leviathan Mini should be given a great preference.”
#4: Pyle PSBV600BT
Pyle has been a pioneer when it comes to manufacturing soundbars and other Home Audio Systems, and the Pyle PSBV600BT is no less than a brilliant product from the company.
Unlike the other soundbars in our list, the Pyle PSBV600BT can actually be called as sound base, a technology first brought forward by ZVOX.
A sound base, as the name suggests is typically a soundbar but can be used to keep the TV on it.
- BLUETOOTH: The soundbar speaker features built-in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly stream audio from your favorite Bluetooth devices (works with virtually all Bluetooth-enabled devices like iPhone, Android, Smartphone, iPad, Tablet, PC, etc.
- ALL-IN-ONE COMPACT SYSTEM: The TV audio system features exceptional sound reproduction technologies that effectively recreate the entire audio spectrum.
- UPGRADED SPEAKERS: The soundbar speaker features include bottom-mounted subwoofer with ported tube design that allows for extended bass performance and 4 full-range speakers that bring you crisp, full-bodied sound.
- CONNECT TO EXTERNAL DEVICES: TV Bluetooth speakers allow you to connect to additional external devices like your TV, laptop, computer or home theater thanks to the AUX (3.5mm), digital optical and RCA Stereo input connector jacks.
- FULL SYSTEM: The soundbar stand system includes full function remote control, so you can control your Bluetooth device, change inputs and adjust volume from anywhere in the room.
Hence in any case; you can’t mount your TV to the wall, the Pyle PSBV600BT can serve both as a soundbar and a base to your TV as well.
You might ask, what’s the advantage of such an audio system?
Well first of all; such a system provides a proper base to your TV and due to extra room space, the speakers inside can produce deep bass and powerful sound.
Moreover this soundbase can handle TV’s with size ranging from 32-50 inches and can handle weight close to 110 lbs, which is very good for its size and price.
Specifications wise, the Pyle PSBV600BT is 21-inch wide with a depth of 12-inch and height of 3-inch.
Inside it hosts a 2.1 channel speaker system that consists of 2 speakers at the front and a fairly large 3.5-inch downfiring subwoofer as well.
This speaker combination is capable of producing sound output of 30W, and is loud enough to fill a small living room.
Connectivity wise, you get the fairly common 3.5mm AUX input, RCA and Digital Optical connection, moreover it also has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity.
Installing the Pyle soundbar too is very straightforward, you have to just place it on a table top, connect it to a power source and to your TV via digital cable and off you.
Since it has a fairly large cabin, you get the right amount of bass and a strong and stable sound quality that accentuates dialogues and spoken words without overpowering bass.
“Though a little boring in design, the Pyle PSBV600BT is an ideal speaker replacement for your TV speakers that offers an excellent sound quality at a very nominal price.”
#3: Richsound Research TB220L
If you need a really long soundbar that offers loud sound (upto 30W) and support for HDMI-ARC along with a black-on-black-on-black color scheme?
Richsound Research TB220L is the soundbar meant specifically for you.
Just like the other soundbars mentioned in our list of best budget soundbar, the TB220L too comes with a 2.0 speaker configuration that offers Bluetooth connectivity and is easily wall mountable.
- Length and Power Output: 32-inch 16 Watt (RMS) Power Output (2.0 channels)
- Connectivity: Optical / Auxillary / Bluetooth
- Inputs: 1 Optical, 1 Aux-In Jack
- Wall Mountable: Yes
- 12-month manufacturer warranty
Design wise, the Richsound Research soundbar looks a lot pricier than it really it and also feels that it comes from a premium audio brand at a premium price as well.
The front of the soundbar has a long continuous metal grille that covers the entire front and the brand’s logo in the centre, the plastic built top is completely clean with no button at all.
You might wonder, where are the buttons placed?
They’re placed on the right side of the speakers and only has Power On/Off and Volume Up and Down button.
Moreover the entire back is clean as well, with connectivity ports shifted entirely to the right side of the soundbar that includes optical and auxillary inputs along with HDMI-ARC.
Most people have complained about the poor signal between the remote and this soundbar, however the main reason is, the soundbar sits so low on a table top that it’s hard to catch the signal from a low angle.
Hence I’d recommend to keep the soundbar close to the edge of the table it’s placed on or operate the remote in angle that is in line or a little higher than the soundbar.
“Richsound Research TB220L for its price is an over performing soundbar and has the looks which makes it feels it comes from a premium audio brand. If you like a mix of both style and sound quality, the Richsound Research TB220L is an optimal option.”
#2: Vizio SB2920-C6
I don’t want this list of best soundbar under $100 to be biased…
…but honestly I’m a big fan of Vizio soundbars and one of its speaker had to be in this list as it’s one of the best affordable soundbar under $100.
No doubt you get an excellent sound quality soundbar if it comes from Vizio, but you also happen to get a good looking and non-obstrusive designed TV speaker system as well.
- 2.0 Premium Audio The VIZIO 2.0 Sound Bar is an easy way to enhance your audio experience when watching your favorite content on the TV. The full-range stereo speakers boost your audio, while DTS technologies simulate incredible surround sound

- Features DTS Studio Sound, DTS TruVolume and DTS TruSurround
- Ergonomic Remote for convenient access to volume, input and audio controls
It’s minimal design is what I love and can easily blend-in with the design of your TV and room interior as well.
This 29-inches long soundbar can easily go well with TV’s that is 32-inch and long, however it will be best suited for a 42 inch tv as this long soundbar won’t overshadow the size of your TV.
The Vizio SB2920-C6 comes with a (as expected) 2.0 speaker configuration that is loud enough to offer a 95dB sound output and doesn’t feel tinny or recessed like other soundbars; you might consider in this sound range.
You can also setup this Vizio’s cheap soundbar with a subwoofer; incase you feel you need extra bass once you get this soundbar.
To make the deal sweeter, Vizio offers Bluetooth connectivity too allowing it to be connected to your smartphone and tablet on the go.
What’s more is the included accessories in the package, you get: remote control, RCA-to-3.5mm cable, RCA cable, TOSLink cable, 2x Wall Mount Brackets, 2x Wall Mount Screws, Wall Mount Template, Power Adapter and 1-Year Warranty Card along with User Manual.
I’m surprised to know that this best TV speaker under $100 has a built-in amp that accentuates audio signals coming from TV, making you hear loud and clear sound at any given time.
Along with remote control, you get few controls buttons on top of this soundbar like: Power On/Off, Audio Source, Bluetooth, Volume Up and Volume Down.
There’s also very small 12 mini LEDs towards the left side of the soundbar that notify about the speaker’s volume, which in my opinion is an astute advantage over other soundbars.
“Honestly speaking, this cheap soundbar for TV from Vizio will be an excellent addition to your living room and also to your newly bought TV; incase you're tired of its poor sound.”
#1: Taotronics TT-SK15
If you need a very long soundbar at a very affordable price with a design that will match up to your newly bought TV, then I’d suggest you to go with the Taotronics TT-SK15 Soundbar.
It’s one of the longest soundbar in our list of Best Soundbar under $100, with a length of 34-inch and can easily be mounted under TV’s as big as 42 to 50-inch.
No products found.
What makes the Taotronics Soundbar design standout is the metallic silver colored touch board in the center of the speaker.
It contains touch buttons at top for Power On/Off, Volume Up, Volume Down and switching between input source.
It’s front shows the kind of input connection is active by lighting up the LED above its name.
To keep things simple, you also get a wireless remote that houses usual set of buttons along with mute button as well.
No doubt design wise the soundbar looks cool, but what makes it more special is ‘What’s inside.’
Unlike other soundbars that offer only 2.0 channel connectivity, the Taotronics soundbar has 4 drivers that produce 10W drivers each that produces a total sound out of 40W and two passive radiators at the back that helps in offering a deep and powerful sound without distortion.
Connectivity wise, this best budget soundbar under $100 has a 3.5mm audio jack that oddly located at the right side of the soundbar.
Whereas on the back you get connectivity options like: RCA input, Coaxial Digital and Optical input as well.
As with all soundbar in this list, the Taotronics TT-SK15 too comes with Bluetooth connectivity with a range of 10 meters and is useful while playing music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
“All in all, the Taotronics is my one of my favorite affordable soundbar under $100 that has a mix of style, statement and sound quality as well.”

Top 9 Best Soundbar under $200
#9: ZVOX Audio Z-Base 220
Well if you’re tired of your under-performing, good-for-nothing TV speakers and you want a Soundbar that’s quite an improvement over it, and comes under budget as well?
Then the ZVOX Audio Z-Base 220 is the best Soundbar under $150 that you can buy right now and is also termed as the World’s Smallest Home Theatre System by the company.
- World's Smallest Home Theater System
- Surround Sound Without Multiple Speakers & Wires
- Super-Clear Vocals
- No External Subwoofer - Everything's Built-In
- "Loud Commercial Control" Feature
The overall design of Z-Base 220 is quite similar to its higher end model and hasn’t changed; over all these years.
In the 220, you get a display at the side that notifies volume, source and other features as well.
Underneath the display there’s physical buttons like: Power, Volume Up/Down, Input Source, and 3.5mm stereo jack for connecting your smartphone to the Soundbar with an Aux cable.
This 3.5 inches high and 17 inches wide Soundbar has clear mid range and stands in no comparison with your malnourished TV speakers.
Its bundled one-page manual is easy enough to understand, and quick enough for a newbie to get started with the Soundbar out-of-the-box.
The 220 offers a slew of Virtual surround sound settings, however it doesn’t feel natural and you’re good enough not using it.
...but one thing you’d like about it is the ‘Loud Commercial Control’ feature that intelligently detects commercials and reduces volume automatically. (Bet your TV speakers can’t do this)
For such a low price; you get a 3.1 channel system that contains 2 inches of 3 speakers each and 5.25 inches of downfiring subwoofer.
It’s kind of a surprise to me that Z-Base 220’s Low profile wooden built cabinet stores plenty of electricals inside but sounds brilliant for the price.
Moreover it’s 12.5 inches of wide base is capable enough to hold upto 27 inches of TV size on it, however due to the built-in subwoofer, things can get shaky at times.
“Overall the ZVOX Audio Z-Base 220 is an outstanding Soundbar for its price and functions. It performs great when it comes to movies and everyday TV shows, and happens to be an excellent replacement for your TV speakers.”
#8: Bose Soundlink Mini II
In this modern day and age where everything is going portable, wouldn’t it be great if you could carry your Soundbar with you?
Well if you think the same way, then Bose Soundlink Mini II is an ideal choice for travel enthusiasts who like to carry their (high quality) music with them.
I get it, globetrotters can get a good Bluetooth speaker as their companion, however we all know; they don’t compare anywhere close to a Soundbar when it comes to music quality...
...and hence Bose happens to eliminate that dilemma altogether.
Available in Carbon and Pearl color: this portable Soundbar is just 7.1 inches long and weighs 1.5 lbs, and comes along with a charging cradle that weighs 2.8 ounces.
This best Bluetooth Soundbar under $200 may not be an ideal TV Soundbar choice, however if you want to switch from your boring tv speakers to a souped up premium sound, you cannot miss the Bose Soundlink Mini II.
This small Soundbar runs on battery and can stay alive for 10 hours on full charge, long enough for watching 3 movies back-to-back or listening to a very long music playlist.
As we all know that Bose is known for its minimal design and hence why Soundlink Mini II is no exception either.
The entire speaker chassis is made up of aluminum that gives it an elegant look and rigidity as well. The front and back grille too don’t flex; making the speaker a (solid) bang for your buck.
To protect the speaker from accidental damage, you can get a soft cover for Soundlink Mini II and a hard shell travelling zipper case as well.
Few buttons at top are available on the Mini II, they are: Power Button, Volume Up/Down, Bluetooth Pairing, while the centre button offers control playback and acts as cell phone speaker; incase you receive a call while your phone is connected to the Mini II.
One exclusive feature that the Mini II has is sound feedback:
You get voice notification: when the speaker is turned on, Bluetooth pairing is activated, when saved Bluetooth device is connected by speaking its name, Caller’s name when you receive phone, battery percentage and so on.
“Bose Soundlink Mini II is a great device if you want to carry your portable Soundbar with you that doesn’t distorts even being so small in size. Though a little overpriced, it’s minimal design, excellent sound quality and longer battery life compensates the downfalls.”
#7: JBL Xtreme
To be honest, when you’re looking for the Best Soundbar under $200, there aren’t many good options available right now, and instead of suggesting average speaker system.
I value the people that visit my site, and I always wish that they get full justice in a product; for the price they’re paying.
- Hear the bass, feel the bass, see the bass. Dual external passive radiators demonstrate just how powerful your speakers are
- Splashproof means no more worrying about rain or spills; you can even clean it with running tap water. Just don't submerge it
- Take Crystal clear calls from your speaker with the touch of a button thanks to the noise and Echo cancelling speakerphone
- Built-in rechargeable li-ion battery supports up to 15 hours of playtime and charges devices via dual USB ports
- Wirelessly connect up to 3 Smartphones or Tablets to the speaker and take turns playing earth-shaking, powerful stereo sound. To reset the unit, hold onto the power button and Bluetooth at the same time.
The JBL Xtreme available at a price marginally shy of $200 (at the time of writing) is a super sized speaker that isn’t entirely portable nor is it big enough to be called a full fledged soundbar system.
It’s basically a JBL Flip 3 on steroids and with a massive sound upgrade due to its twin 63mm woofers.
The JBL Xtreme is available in three colors: Black, Blue and Red, and its package contain the speaker itself along with a wall adapter and shoulder strap to carry the speaker.
Design wise, the Xtreme doesn’t looks sleek at all, and is fat instead; with two hooks on either side to attach the (provided) shoulder strap.
Note: If you hate the idea of carrying this speaker on your shoulder, I'd suggest going for Mesh Travel Case for the JBL Xtreme that allows the use of speaker when stored in it and also acts as a great travel pouch.
Being splashproof, the JBL Xtreme is completely covered with a water resistant fabric and a zipper at the bottom that hides its connectivity ports like Service port, Aux in, Charging port and two USB ports for charging other devices.
A 10,000 mAh battery is fitted into the Xtreme that makes sure the speaker doesn’t give up on you, while you’re watching your favorite movies or listening to music with your friends because it offers 20 hours of battery life.
This Bluetooth Soundbar has a hard plastic stand underneath that will stop the speaker from shaking or producing vibrations.
Moreover the benefit that this Bluetooth speaker has over traditional Soundbar is, it doesn’t require a constant power source to charge it...
...hence you can keep it on the centre table, away from the TV and enjoy fantastic sound upclose.
“To say the least, the JBL Xtreme is a modern, completely wire-free version of a Soundbar that doesn’t asks for lot of space, offers surreal sound quality and can be placed anywhere in your house, and connected to any device of your liking.”
VALUE-FOR-MONEY PICK
#6: Razer Leviathan
If you’re looking for the best Soundbar for gaming and need the finest looking Soundbar under $200, you ought to go for the Razer Leviathan; eyes closed.
Out of all the sound bars mentioned here, I personally love the design of Leviathan; the most.
Coming out of its great designed gaming products factory, this Soundbar from Razer is no exception either.
- Immersive 5.1 Channel Surround Sound For Gaming And Movies
- Bluetooth V4.0 Aptx For Wireless Music Streaming
- Dedicated Subwoofer For Deep Immersive Bass
- Frequency Response-180 Hz - 20 KHz
Unlike most soundbars mentioned in this article, the Razer Leviathan Soundbar is small in size, considering the fact that it will be used by young people living in dorm rooms.
Can you believe that this 20 inch Soundbar packs in a 5.1 channel sound sound system?
With inclusion of 5.1 Dolby Digitial, you’ll experience a proper surround sound even with such a small system.
Moreover you get a great looking subwoofer as well for an immersive bass performance accompanying this tiny sized Soundbar.
The subwoofer contains a 5.25 inches down firing bass driver that is loud enough to fill an entire room, and tight enough to ensure the bass isn’t overpowering.
Coming to its design, the Razer Leviathan Soundbar is small enough to sit under your computer screen and serve as the best Soundbar for gaming, movies and music listening.
There’s few buttons included on the soundbar like: a big power button, a source button to switch between optical, aux and Bluetooth, Bluetooth button to start pairing Bluetooth device, a Dolby Digital 5.1 button, Mute, Audio Mode button that switches between Gaming, Music and Movie, and a volume up/down button as well.
The subwoofer on the other hand looks more stylish compared to the Soundbar.
It’s top has Razer’s logo, while the entire subwoofer features a minimal design made up of high quality plastic, while the bottom contains the 5.25 inches woofer unit.
Talking about its sound quality, the Razer Leviathan packs a bomb. You get a tight sound from such a small system. Though it may not fill an entire living room, however for your bedroom or your dorm room; it’s an ideal choice.
“When you’re investing in a stylized setup like this one with an amazing sound response; just don’t hold onto anything else and save some space for the Leviathan in your room.”
#5: ZVOX Soundbase 350
Just under $200, you get a low-profile Soundbar from ZVOX that can be kept under your TV, enabling you to listen to a dynamite sound.
To be honest, I personally didn’t liked the design of ZVOX Soundbar, which hasn't changed from 2004, however when it comes to audio quality; they do pack quite-a-serious punch.
The Soundbase 350 is a great choice for people who hate wire fuss and want everything arranged in a single cabinet, and that is what ZVOX offers.
This 24 inch long Soundbar comes with a 3.1 channel speaker system; consisting of 5.25” bass driver and three 2” speakers that completes the package.
ZVOX recommends placing upto 42” screen size TV’s on the Soundbase 350 with a max TV base of 23 inches.
Unique Selling Point for this best TV speaker is ZVOX’s Accu Voice feature that enhances vocals and dialogues in the audio content you’re listening, allowing you to keep the overall speaker volume low.
There’s also a small remote control that offers various controls like Power, Input, Volume, Bass-Treble adjustments, Accu Voice, Output Levelling and Mute button.
Just like me, the ZVOX too hates connecting multiple wires between your TV and Soundbar, and hence why you just need an optical TOS link cable to make a connection and enjoy Dolby Digital sound as well.
There’s Bluetooth connectivity to connect the Soundbase 350 for wireless music listening.
Towards the right side of the Soundbar you have a small display that notifies about volume, Bluetooth connectivity, source and so on, it also turns off when not in use saving you electricity and distraction as well.
This wood cabinet built Soundbar has slew of other features in it like: it reduces loud commercial volume saving you headache, and can also be programmed to use your TV or Cable box remote to control the ZVOX’s sound.
“ZVOX Soundbase 350 though looks quite old in design and style but has a slew of no-BS features that works like charm and justifies it just-under-$200 price tag.”
#4: Polk Audio Magnifi One
If you’re looking for an aesthetically premium designed Soundbar that not only offers great sound quality but also comes from an innately popular audio brand, then you should zero down on Polk Audio Magnifi One.
Note: At the time of writing, the Polk Audio Magnifi One is slightly over the $200 price range, however considering all the goodness you get for just a marginal high price; I just couldn’t resist mentioning it in our list.
Just like the previously mentioned Razer Leviathan, the Polk Audio Magnifi One comes with a (long) Soundbar coupled with a massive subwoofer to complete the package.
- The MagniFi One Sound Bar and Wireless Subwoofer System takes minutes to setup no more clutter, cables and installation hassles
- Exclusive Voice Adjust Technology Dramatically increases vocal intelligibility independent of program material and volume level to provide clean, clear, crisp dialogue
- Bluetooth included Delivers quality sound from your smartphone, tablet or other compatible device
- Works with virtually any TV Ultra Low Profile design (less than 2” tall) won't block TV IR sensor
- Sport, Music and Movie EQ settings ensure room filling, immersive sound
With a height of 2 inches, the Soundbar is sleek enough to not be noticed and its width of 35 inches is long enough to couple up as a great companion with your brand new flat screen TV.
This best Soundbar subwoofer combo is a 3.1 channel speaker system that offers Polk’s Voice Adjust technology which ensures you hear clear vocals regardless of the volume, placement or source sound quality, which definitely makes it the best TV Soundbar under $200.
Depending on the content you’re watching, you can change the Equalizer settings of Magnifi One that ensures an immersive, room-filling sound.
Moreover its package contains an IR Remote Control, 6ft. Stereo Cable, Optical Cable, 2 RCA adapters and 4 Rubber Feets that makes sure you get a complete package and don’t need to buy aftermarket accessories after buying the speaker.
The subwoofer on the other hand is a piece of excellent that is intricately designed allowing a minimal but noticeable design. Trust me your friends won’t stop drolling over the design of both the Soundbar as well as the subwoofer.
The subwoofer’s cabinet is built with high quality materials with curvy edges and a down firing driver that is loud enough to fill an entire room and clear enough to not overpower bass or distort at loud volumes.
“Basically if you want a sound system that not only replaces your under nourished TV speakers but also adds a sense of luxury to your living room without screaming out its presence, going with Polk Audio Magnifi One would be sensible choice I’d say.”
#3: Vizio SB3821-C6

This 2.1 channel soundbar from Vizio comes with a sleek and practical design, with nothing too fancy or complicated nor too boring as well.
It’s design will fit well in any kind of house, be it a posh villa, your living room or just an addition to your kids room.
The SB3821-C6 is one of the best soundbar with subwoofer available under $200 that is a great fit for small as well as large TVs, and can simultaneously either be wall mounted or kept on the TV desk.
Best part about this Vizio soundbar is that the subwoofer unit is wireless and hence you don’t have to keep it anywhere close to the soundbar just for the sake of it.
Coming to its features, this soundbar offers 100dB sound output with a 2.1 channel setup that is loud enough to fill an entire living room, and with Total Harmonic Distortion of less than 1%; your sound wouldn’t distort like other cheap soundbars.
For people looking to connect their smartphone with this soundbar, it also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and hence can connect with any Bluetooth transmiting device as well.
At the top of Vizio soundbar there’s plenty of quick function buttons as well like: Power, Input Source Selection, Bluetooth Pairing, Volume Down, Volume Up.
It’s back features plenty of connectivity options like USB port (to play music via Pen Drive), RCA connectivity, 3.5mm Aux connection to connect your smartphone via an aux cable to play music, Coaxial Input and Digital Optical Audio input as well.
Moreover Vizio also provides required cables in the box to connect it to your TV.
The remote provided with this soundbar subwoofer system is pretty good compared to fidgety and non durable remote control you get with other systems, and long enough to hold it easily.
“To say the least, Vizio SB3821-C6 is the best soundbar under $150 that looks stylish and elegant than many pricier models and loud enough to fill an entire room with clear distinct sound.”
#2: Samsung HW K360
This long soundbar from Samsung is an amalgamation of character and premium-ness at a truly affordable price.
It’s a 35 inches long soundbar that comes with a 2.1 channel setup with 6.1 inches wide subwoofer that’s good enough to add thump to your audio.
- Length & Power Output: 35-Inch 130 Watt (2.1 Channels)
- Subwoofer: Wireless
- Connectivity: Bluetooth
- Wall Mountable: Yes
- Inputs: 1 Optical, 0 Coaxial, 0 HDMI
The HW K360 is the best soundbar for music listening and with 130 Watts of sound output; makes sure that your music is loud enough to accompany you in your home.
Since it comes with a wireless subwoofer, you can keep it anywhere in the house without the requirement of it being close to the soundbar.
Bluetooth connectivity enables it to connect to any device and stream music wirelessly, moreover you can also use your smartphone as a remote control by downloading Samsung’s Audio Remote App.
The provided remote control feels premium and is long enough to fit easily in your hands, it features fairly big buttons which would be a great help for elders who have trouble differentiating markings on small buttons.
If your main purpose is to listen music, then the K360 is a great fit as it offers clear vocals and crisp sound at a price just under $150.
Coming to the soundbar, its design is very sleek and low profile, and with a metal grille on the front gives it a premium look and feel.
You also get a LED display at the center of the soundbar that displays input source, volume and other features, and shuts off immediately after use.
“Coming from a reputable brand, the Samsung HW K360 is premium designed soundbar that takes design cues from its pricier big brother but is available at a fairly affordable price that is under everyone’s budget.”
#1: Vizio S4251w-B4
Would you mind if I tell that you can get a premium 5.1 channel surround sound system that costs under $200 and long enough to be a great fit for 55 inch TV?
Well Vizio S4251w-B4 is the answer to the above question.
This 42 inches long soundbar is an ideal companion if you’re planning to buy a large TV for your multimedia entertainment.
Along with the soundbar, you also get a subwoofer and two external satellite speakers that completes a true 5.1 channel surround sound system setup.
The included subwoofer is wireless as well and just like the previously mentioned Vizio SB3821-C6 can be kept anywhere in the room.
However the provided satellites needs to be connected to the subwoofer to complete 5.1 channel setup. I’d recommend going for an Adjustable Satellite Speaker Stand to save you from the hassle of wall mounting them.
It also comes with a stylish and long remote that has a single line LED screen on it notifying about volume, input source, mute and so on.
The soundbar is capable enough to produce 102dB of sound, which is close to the sound that is generated in a rock concert that in turn is more than enough to fill your big living room.
Unlike other soundbars we’ve seen till now, this is the longest soundbar in our list and the entire front is a cloth grille with a white margin that starts from the left and ends in the right connecting with the Vizio branding.
At the bottom left corner, there’s multiple small LEDs that quietly notify about the soundbar's volume level.
Connectivity wise, it features Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming, while the back includes a USB port, Optical input, Coaxial mini jack, analog and RCA connectivity as well.
“The Vizio S4251w-B4 makes for a great home theater solution at a highly affordable price that offers premium features and tons of connectivity options as well with 5.1 channel system.”

Sony HTCT260H is the only Soundbar under $300 that features a hexagonal design.
- 300W 2.1 channel sound bar w/wireless subwoofer, Easy set up with 3 HDMI in/1 out and ARC support, Stream music wirelessly w/Bluetooth & NFC connections
- Dolby TrueHD & dots-HD Master Audio format support, Full-range speaker w/ unique diffuser for immersive sound
- Easily wall mount underneath, or place in-front of your TV, Slim, front-firing, wireless subwoofer fits almost anywhere
This makes it totally unique from all other soundbars mentioned in our list.
The package comes with a single unit of long 40 inches soundbar consisting of two speakers; also included is a large subwoofer which connects wirelessly to the entire system.
This happens to be the best soundbar with wireless subwoofer from a very well known audio brand.
Subwoofer produces sound output of 130W; whereas the satellite speakers fused into the sound bar produces sound output of 85W each.
Hence the total sound output of the entire system is, 130W + (85W*2) = 300W which is pretty loud to fill a large room.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth and NFC allowing to you connect your TV to the Sony HTCT260H via Bluetooth and do NFC pairing with your NFC enabled smartphone.
This kind of technology allows for a wireless sound solution.
There's one cool feature included in the Sony HTCT260H and i.e. Remote Signal Repeater.
Most of the time when your TV isn’t wall mounted; the soundbar sits right in front of the TV.
In certain scenarios this could block TV’s remote sensor. Sony found a work around to this and included a TV signal repeater...
...and even if the soundbar did blocked the Remote sensor; Sony HTCT260H can catch TV remote signal, duplicate it and send it to TV.
Isn’t it cool?
"Sound wise, it offers great sound quality and definitely deserves a mention in our list of best soundbar under $300."
#7: Sharp HT-SB602
Featuring a gun metal design and premium looks; the Sharp HT-SB602 is a proud entrant is our list of Sound bar under $300.
With a 54-inch wide soundbar, this happens to be a great soundbar for 48 inch TV and more due to its large size.
- 54-Inch 310W (2.1 channels) - ideal for 60-Inch and larger TVs
- Subwoofer: Wireless
- Connectivity: Bluetooth
- Wall Mountable: Yes: Remote Included: Yes
- Inputs: 2 HDMI, 1 optical, 1 analog
It happens to be a best soundbar with wireless subwoofer which is bigger in length and can be kept anywhere; until there’s an option to connect it to a power outlet.
Like our previously mentioned soundbar; the Sharp HT-SB602 features Bluetooth as well as NFC.
The total power output from the entire system is 310W.
It also includes dual HDMI connectors with both of them featuring Dolby and DTS support.
Watching movies on the Sharp HT-SB602 is an incredible pleasure; however same cannot be said about music listening, as you’d tend to miss out intricate details and it’s however the same case with all soundbar + subwoofer system.
Gun-metal design on the soundbar gives it a stylish look; however the same cannot be said about the subwoofer.
The length is small and height is big and looks pretty generic, and doesn’t complement the excellent design of the soundbar. However do check out its full review.
"If you own a small TV of 32-40 inches; do consider dropping the idea of buying this soundbar under $300; as it would look weird for a 54 inches soundbar sit below your dwarf 32 inches TV."
#6: Yamaha YAS-107
In our list of best soundbar under $300, here’s a soundbar with ultra slim design that complements the looks of your TV and happens to be the best soundbar for music listening.
Compared to other soundbar in our list; this is the most subtle looking and minimalist soundbar and Yamaha YAS-105 has got it’s design perfectly on the mark.
- Ultra Slim, beautifully simple design
- Built in subwoofers for Deep bass without a second box
- Clear voice for enhanced dialogue clarity
- Bluetooth wireless music streaming
- Simple setup with HDMI, optical or analog Connection.Bluetooth Maximum Communication Range:33 ft (*without obstructions)
For people who love minimalism (like me); this is definitely a great choice as it has dual built-in subwoofer; rather than a heavy external unit.
However it doesn’t comes with NFC and features only Bluetooth, which isn’t a deal breaker as NFC still doesn’t comes standard with many smartphones today.
The package comes with optical cable; which can be used to connect to your TV if it has that option; also you can even connect either via coaxial cable or analog cable.
Since the subwoofer is built into the unit; the bass isn’t as strong compared to an external unit but that’s manageable considering the amount of space that gets saved.
The setup is very simple indeed; out of the box, just connect the Yamaha YAS-105 to a power source and to your TV via coaxial, analog or optical input and you’re ready to go.
You can either control the functions of this soundbar under $300 with a remote control or rather via a free Yamaha app.
"If you live in a small room and want to save on speakers space; Yamaha YAS-105 is definitely for you."

It’s hard to find an audio enthusiast who hasn’t heard about this innately popular audio brand called as ‘Klipsch’.

After blowing the market by storm by its extremely popular in-ear headphones and bookshelf speakers, the company has been making mark in the Home Audio segment with its soundbar music system.
Design wise, the Klipsch R-10B looks very toned down and basic, with plenty of usability options, however it shines when it comes to sound quality and overall features.
This 7-pound Bluetooth-enabled wireless soundbar comes is 40-inch long, 4.1-inch high and 2.8” deep...
...moreover it also comes with wireless subwoofer that hosts a 8-inch driver inside that adds a touch of deep bass to the already balanced sound of soundbar.
The soundbar consists of 2x 0.75-inch dome tweeter that features Klispch’s propriety Tractrix horn technology and 2x 3-inch mid range driver as well that offers a 5.1 channel sound experience with a minimal footprint.
This Bluetooth-enabled soundbar from Klipsch has the ability to output a peak power of 250W, which is more than enough to fill a large room.
Input wise, the Klipsch R-10B comes with 1x optical digital and 1x dual RCA analog, moreover inside the package, the company provides 1x 1.5m optical cable, pair of rubber feet, wall mounting template and remote control along with power supply.
The overall sound quality of Klipsch R-10B is very good, and it would be hard for someone to find faults, however some users have noticed a glitch which causes the soundbar to get into full-volume when powered on but this problem can be solved by resetting the soundbar once.
“As I said earlier, when you’re getting anything that is Klipsch, you should be sure that you’re in safe hands, and same goes with the wireless Klipsch R-10B soundbar as well.”
#4: Bose Solo 5
Well it isn’t a secret that I’m personally a big fan of Bose products. The reason being not only the sound but also the way they’re designed.

It will quietly sit in front of your TV and the industrial black design makes sure it doesn’t distracts you while watching TV.
The other Soundbars mentioned in our list do come with a sub-woofer however the Bose Solo 5 is void of it, however you can connect it an aftermarket Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer which will make it a complete package.
Before that lets check what’s inside the box:
Bose Solo 5 package comes with the Soundbar itself along with a universal remote, power brick and set of cables.
This Soundbar is however sleeker, lighter and smaller than other soundbars in our list. It is 21.4 inches long, 2.6 inches high and 3.4 inches in depth, weighing only at 3.73 lbs (the lightest too in our list).
It also comes with a universal remote that has ability to control your TV, Blu-ray player and other devices connected to your TV and Soundbar.
The remote control also houses a Bass control button that increases/decreases bass on the Soundbar, however is a no replacement to an actual sub-woofer.
Bose Solo 5 mostly concentrates on giving you an audio experience that is much better that the speakers your TV comes with.
With Bose’s special technology, this Soundbar makes sure that you hear dialogues and intricate sound details without increasing volume.
Included Bluetooth feature allows you to connect your smartphone or tablet to the Solo 5 and stream audio. Do check Bose Solo 5 review.
“For music listeners, the Bose Solo 5 may not be an ideal choice however if you need an excellent replacement for your naive TV speakers, that is small, sleek and doesn’t takes much space, the Bose Solo 5 is highly recommended.”

It has built in Bluetooth along with HDMI connectivity to connect your TV to this Soundbar via an HDMI cable.
It also has something called as Sound Sync Wireless that will allow your LG HDTV to connect wirelessly to LAS551H Soundbar.
Included Sub-woofer is completely wireless and you can keep it next to your sofa to enjoy thumping bass while listening to music or watching action-packed movies.
Sound quality on this one is highly detailed and the included sub-woofer does add a flair of action to the sound.
Though don’t expect audiophile like details from this measly $300 soundbar, however it does lives up to its price and puts out an enjoyable sound.
Unlike the previously mentioned Bose Solo 5, LG Electronics LAS551H comes with wall mount brackets (included in the box) at no extra price.

Vizio may not be popular, known and aged brand like the Sony, Sharp, Yamaha or Samsung…
…however in the past few years, the company has managed to carve out some incredible sounding home-audio solutions which not only sound great but also look awesome with a cheaper design.
With a entire black body, and aluminum base design; this soundbar for music looks ultimately premium and adds a flavor of elegance to your TV and your room.
If you look closely there is no LCD display on the soundbar and indications are only done via LED lights.
But the genius thing Vizio did is, they included the LCD display on the remote control itself.
However this could be a bad idea too as speaker remote generally gets lost due to being used occasionally.
The subwoofer is wireless and connected to the soundbar; however the two external satellites aren’t wireless and required wired connections via the subwoofer.
The only problem one would have is; the subwoofer adds more than required bass even when it’s set all down low. Check Full Review!
